Fashion show

Today Phoebe and I went shopping. Here are her new outfits. I need to get an updated height on her. She is so tall, I feel like I have to explain to people that she's only 2 when she starts to have a fit because people look at us like "why can't you keep your five year old in order?"

At the stockyards

Here is Phoebe riding the mechanical horse and the cattle drive.

Grapevine Vintage Railroad

On Wednesday we took Phoebe on the vintage railroad. This train runs between Grapevine and Fort Worth. It takes about 1 and a half hours each direction and you have about 2 hours at the Fort Worth Stockyards to mill around. At 4pm every day they do a cattle drive through the stockyards. I was a little let down by the fact that there were only 6 or 7 cows. I guess I heard cattledrive and was thinking of something much bigger. Phoebe loved it and that's the important part! About 15 minutes into the train ride the train came to a stop and all of a sudden there was gun fire. The train was under seige. They had a simulated train robbery, more comical then scary, I guess they didn't want a bunch of screaming kids. Again, Phoebe loved it. The robber on horse back came right up to our window and shook Phoebe's hand.

St. Patrick's Day

I don't have very many photos from St. Patrick's day. This is Phoebe helping me make the soda bread.

First day of Spring Break

We all had the week off. The first day we went to REI and all got new water bottles. Then we had lunch, had nap time, and went to the park to play. We also had BBQ hotdogs for dinner, Phoebe's favorite, and we went out for ice cream after. A pretty successful first day!

Irish Festival

We recently attending the North Texas Irish Festival. It was WAY to much fun. I missed the haggis stand though, darn it!
