Hey Mom, I've got teeth!

So Elsie's first two teeth picked a very bad time to show themselves. We were on our way home from a pretty long trip. We were near Houston, which is about 4 hours. We were at least 1 hour, if not more, from home when the pain set in a poor Elsie started screaming bloody murder. It really makes an hour seem like 3.

Mothers Day

Here we are on Mother's Day. Don't let the sweet expressions fool you. Phoebe was pretty naughty at breakfast and Elsie spent the last 1 or so of the drive home screaming. They are very cute girls, though.

The Woodlands

In May we went to the Woodlands for a birthday party. Elsie was a good girl and played in the play pen or with other small cousins. Phoebe had fun with the older cousins. She ran in sprinklers for the first time!

Block Party

Every year our neighborhood throws a block party. We always seem to have something conflicting but this year we were able to go. Phoebe enjoyed the egg hunt and Elsie just chilled out.

Easter Time

Aunt Anne came this year for Easter. We decorated eggs and Aunt Anne tried hard to feed Elsie. I think more food ended up ON Elsie rather than IN Elsie. Oh well, we all had fun!

Christmas Girls

Here are the girls in their matching Christmas outfits. They were so cute. Too soon Elsie grew out of hers, but Phoebe still tries to sneak into her fancy skirt when she can!
